Two leaves and a silver bud are painstakingly finger rolled by hand into a delicate Darjeeling pearl . Finger rolling these beautiful leaves also shapes the flavor, creating delicate nuances in this carefully oxidized tea. Pearls unfurl slowly, developing heady aromas and a spectrum of mellow cocoa notes, faint aromas of honey, fruits of figs and prunes, and a long ethereal muscatel finish.
