Anyone who has used that comforting phrase "a nice cup of tea" invariably means Indian tea. ~George Orwell

ROHINI PURE GREENERY

$11.50

Not only did
Eisaj introduce Zen Buddhism, bringing new
seeds from China into Japan, but he also
wrote the first Japanese book on tea, "Kitcha-
Yojoki". (The Book Of Tea Sanitation.-1-155)
Describing tea as a "divine elixar", Eisaj
helped in creating the perception of tea as an
act tied into the spiritual soul of the mind.snd in relation to the spiritual elevation of nternal being....
It was not too long before Tanuki patron god saint of the tea kettle came along. Tanuki the magical raccoon famous is famous in  Zen Buddhist folklore. We named this sumptuous verdant Darjeeling also from the Rohini estate "Tanuki's pure greenery" In the spirit of Tanuki's bottomless tea kettle from which sprung eternal life forces of sweet green tea served up endlessly to universal questioners. In reward to Princess Nozumi who later became a renowned Zen Abbot for rescuing her Tanuki the(nature spirit) rambunctious raccoon famous in Japanese folklore for her shapeshifting.  She could shape shift but still got caught in a piercing vice of a trapper! Nozumi took pity on Tanuki and saved her!

Magically in gratitude, Tanuki turned herself into the personal tea kettle of Nozumi. Tanuki is ubiquitous good luck charmer who resides in the primordial mind of Japanese folktales.

In honor of rare Japanese green tea varietals grown in Darjeeling fashioned into
lightening of endless pure greenery!  Notes of an elegant gyokuro varietal grown in Rohini Darjeeling gardens, possess less oceanic green dew and more flowery freshness.

A cup of Bodhi green tea dreaming.

Tanuki the shapeshifting badger

"A pitch-black ball flies through the

night. I drink tea at tea time, eat rice at

meal time."

To grasp nothingness, and see through this

illusion was to "glimpse the nature of one's

own being."
