In Dolpo, Tibet there are stories of great lamas frequently making trips to Tibet in the form of snow leopards,*("Saziks" in Tibetan) in search of
rare medicinal herbs. This luscious feathery silver tea simaler to the Gopaldhara fluffy White tea leaf comprised solely of silver buds..

White tea can only be harvested for about two weeks during March and
April of each year. White tea, by definition, is a spring tea,
harvested only from the very first buds the tea plant produces each
year. Harvesting Darjeeling white tea requires particular temperatures and other
environmental conditions.
It must be picked when the weather is
dry and there has been no frost the night before. Therefore, all white
tea is a "first plucking" unlike other tea plants, which are plucked
multiple times during the growing season.
We christened this buttery soft white tea from the Rohini T.E. "Rohini Snow Leopard Silver Tea" in close in proximity to a new wild life reserve known for its majestic
elephants, tigers, rare flora and fauna. The Snow Leopard however is far to too elusive and ethereal from such lofty hieghts of the Himalayas to find repose in captivity. Rohini Snow Leopard Silver needles capture the fresh essence of the glorious East and ever so fleeting magical spirit of the Darjeeling spring.
